Polestar Insights helps you import your Journey Log export and see efficiency, costs, charging, maintenance, and ownership insights on iPhone.

How to import your journeys

Trip history comes from a Journey Log CSV you export yourself (the app does not pull trips from a live Polestar API).

Option A — From email (recommended)

1. In the Polestar app, export / email your Journey Log.
2. Open the email on your iPhone and open the CSV attachment.
3. Tap Share → Polestar Insights.
4. Open Polestar Insights if it isn’t already open — the import runs automatically.

Option B — From Files

1. Save the Journey Log CSV to Files (or iCloud Drive).
2. Open Polestar Insights → Settings.
3. Tap Import CSV and choose the file.
4. Choose Merge (add new trips) or Replace (replace existing journey data).

Importing regularly keeps your insights up to date. If you enable the optional sync reminder in Settings, a successful import resets that timer.
